What is this strategy about?
Ask your class to answer questions in unison from time to time to engage pupils and make lessons feel energetic and positive.
Why is unison chanting effective in the classroom?
Unison chanting encourages students to give a choral response in unison when prompted by the teacher. When students respond as a group to academic content, they are actively engaged and more likely to learn the material being taught. This method also allows teachers to determine if most of the students in the classroom understand a concept.
