What is this strategy about?
In a Year 6 class, there can be up to a seven-year gap between achievements amongst pupils. Differentiation is key to achieving understanding across the classroom and, eventually, mastery. This 'Teaching Mixed Ability Effectively' training will show you how to tailor your lessons for many abilities.
How can I teach to students of different abilities?
Differentiate by task or activity and use a variety of tasks: visual, practical, interactive and auditory. This will ensure all different learners can access the subject.
Why do we have initiatives and not modules?
If you were wondering why we have initiatives rather than the more usual e-learning modules, read our
blog to find out why.
