What is this strategy about?
You need a range of questioning strategies in your arsenal to get the best out of your pupils. How many have you tried?
What are the open-ended questions?
Open-ended questions cannot be answered with just 'yes' or 'no' answers. They require more thought and are designed to encourage more meaningful and informative answers.
What is quality questioning important?
Questioning is important as it allows teachers to see how much the class understands and allows you to identify any gaps in knowledge. Quality questioning is also a great way to encourage students to think about their answer in-depth.
