What is this strategy about?
People are motivated by the positive far more than the negative. Guide pupils to do better work while motivating and inspiring them by using a positive tone to deliver constructive feedback. Positive feedback is about framing your interactions with pupils to guide them to the right decision.
What is feedback?
Feedback is information that you give to your students to provide them with an insight into how they can improve their performance. You are more likely to motivate your students with an approach that is positive and constructive.
Why is positive feedback important?
Positive feedback and praise can boost motivation and prompts students to strive to achieve more. This will let them know which areas they are performing well in and if they are on the right track.
