    What Is This Strategy About?
If pupils spend all their time sitting and writing with a pen on paper they will get bored. Mix up the variety of how they write and what they write.

What Are The Rules For Good Writing?
Unless pupils are comfortable writing, they won’t enjoy it.

Pupils need a tripod grip on their pens. Use different pens for different pupils as some may prefer to write in felt tip pens while others may prefer chunky pencils. Don’t insist on a one-size-fits-all approach or pupils will become resistant.

Good posture is also incredibly important. Pupils should be sat up straight, legs uncrossed, should not have to bend their wrists to reach the surface or bend their backs over to write.
