What is this strategy about?
Ultimately, we are preparing pupils for their adult lives and as such one of the key factors in engaging pupils is to make their learning authentic. Plan in opportunities for pupils to work in a manner they would expect to reflect real life and they will find tasks more engaging and gain a better overall outlook on their learning.
What is authentic learning?
Authentic learning is real-life learning. It is a style that encourages children to apply their learning to real-life contexts and situations. This will make the learning relevant to students as it allows them to apply this learning outside the classroom.
Why do we have initiatives and not modules?
If you were wondering why we have initiatives rather than the more usual e-learning modules, read our blog to find out why.
